டயனோசர்களின் தோற்றமும் மறைவும் | Evolution of dinosaurs #dinosaur #vaanveli #extinction

Origins and Early Evolution
Triassic Period (approximately 250-201 million years ago):
Archosaurs: Dinosaurs evolved from a group of reptiles called archosaurs. Early archosaurs appeared in the Triassic period, and from them, the first dinosaurs emerged.
Eoraptor and Herrerasaurus: Among the earliest known dinosaurs are Eoraptor and Herrerasaurus, small bipedal predators from South America, dating back to around 231 million years ago.
Major Dinosaur Clades
Jurassic Period (approximately 201-145 million years ago):

Saurischia: This group includes theropods (bipedal carnivores like Tyrannosaurus rex) and sauropodomorphs (long-necked herbivores like Brachiosaurus).
Ornithischia: This diverse group of herbivorous dinosaurs includes stegosaurs (Stegosaurus), ankylosaurs (Ankylosaurus), and hadrosaurs (duck-billed dinosaurs).
Cretaceous Period (approximately 145-66 million years ago):

Diversification: Dinosaurs reached their peak diversity during the Cretaceous. Major groups like ceratopsians (Triceratops) and theropods, which later gave rise to birds, flourished.
Bird Evolution: Theropod dinosaurs, particularly a group called maniraptorans, evolved into birds. The famous Archaeopteryx is often cited as a transitional fossil between non-avian dinosaurs and birds.
Extinction and Legacy
Cretaceous-Paleogene (K-Pg) Extinction Event (approximately 66 million years ago):
Mass Extinction: A catastrophic event, likely an asteroid impact, led to the extinction of most dinosaur species. However, avian dinosaurs (birds) survived and are their direct descendants.

Climate Change: The impact and subsequent environmental changes caused by the impact led to a drastic cooling of the Earth's climate. This would have disrupted ecosystems, causing a decline in plant life, which, in turn, would have affected herbivorous dinosaurs and the predators that relied on them.

Mass Extinction: The combination of factors, including extreme temperature fluctuations, lack of sunlight, and ecological disruption, likely resulted in a mass extinction event. Many species, including the non-avian dinosaurs, went extinct during this time.

Surviving Species: While the non-avian dinosaurs went extinct, some groups of animals, such as birds, small mammals, and reptiles, managed to survive and eventually evolve into the diverse life forms we see today. Birds are the only living descendants of the dinosaur lineage.

Adaptive Radiation: Dinosaurs adapted to various ecological niches, leading to a wide range of forms and sizes, from tiny, feathered theropods to enormous sauropods.
Feathers and Flight: Many theropods had feathers, initially for insulation or display, which eventually evolved for flight in the ancestors of birds.
Social Behavior: Evidence of social behavior, such as nesting sites and herd movement, suggests complex behaviors among some dinosaur species.

World War II, often abbreviated as WWII, was a global conflict that took place from 1939 to 1945. It involved many of the world's nations, organized into two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis powers. The Allies were led by the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and China, with significant contributions from other nations such as Canada, Australia, and France. The Axis powers were primarily Germany, Italy, and Japan, with support from other countries like Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. The war was triggered by a combination of factors, including unresolved tensions from World War I, economic instability, expansionist policies pursued by fascist regimes in Germany, Italy, and Japan, and geopolitical ambitions. Key events leading up to the war include Germany's invasion of Poland in September 1939, which prompted France and the United Kingdom to declare war on Germany, marking the beginning of the conflict. Over the following years, the war spread across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific, resulting in significant military campaigns, battles, and atrocities. Some of the major theaters of war included the European Theater, where battles like the Battle of Stalingrad and the Normandy landings (D-Day) took place, and the Pacific Theater, which saw intense fighting between Japan and the Allies, including the Battle of Midway and the island-hopping campaign. World War II saw the widespread use of new military technologies, including aircraft, tanks, submarines, and the development of atomic weapons. It also witnessed immense human suffering, with millions of soldiers and civilians killed or wounded, and atrocities such as the Holocaust, in which six million Jews were systematically murdered by the Nazis. The war came to an end in 1945 with the unconditional surrender of the Axis powers. The most significant events leading to the end of the war were the Allied invasion of Normandy, the Soviet advance into Eastern Europe, and the dropping of atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the United States. The aftermath of World War II reshaped the geopolitical landscape, leading to the rise of the United States and the Soviet Union as superpowers, the establishment of the United Nations, and the beginning of the Cold War. It also resulted in the decolonization of many countries and laid the groundwork for the post-war era of globalization and international cooperation. Atomic Bombs: The United States dropped atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, leading to Japan's surrender and the end of the war.

World War I, also known as the Great War, was a global conflict that lasted from 1914 to 1918. It involved many of the world's great powers, divided into two opposing alliances: the Allies, primarily composed of the British Empire, France, Russia, Italy, and later the United States; and the Central Powers, primarily composed of Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria.

The war began with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary in June 1914, which led to a series of diplomatic crises and alliances being activated. Tensions had been building in Europe for decades due to militarism, imperialism, nationalism, and complex alliances.

The conflict saw major battles fought on multiple fronts, including the Western Front in France and Belgium, the Eastern Front between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Russia, and various theaters in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. New technologies such as tanks, aircraft, and chemical weapons were introduced, leading to unprecedented levels of destruction and casualties.

The war ended with the signing of the armistice on November 11, 1918, effectively marking the defeat of the Central Powers. The Treaty of Versailles, signed in 1919, imposed harsh terms on Germany, contributing to economic hardship and political instability in the country, ultimately setting the stage for World War II. The First World War had a profound impact on the course of history, reshaping global politics, societies, and economies in its wake.

Geographical Changes: Without seas, large sections of the Earth's surface would be dry land. The planet's surface would most likely consist of broad plains, plateaus, and mountain ranges, with fewer low-lying places.

climatic Change: The presence of oceans has a substantial impact on Earth's climatic patterns through processes such as evaporation, precipitation, and heat absorption. Without seas, the climate would probably be more harsh and less tempered. Coastal places that now have more mild climates due to oceanic impact may face more extreme temperatures.

Water Distribution: The oceans play an important role in distributing water over the earth through processes such as evaporation, precipitation, and ocean currents. Without seas, water distribution would be altered, potentially resulting in differences in rainfall patterns and freshwater availability.

Impact on Weather Systems: The oceans are important components of the global weather system, influencing atmospheric circulation patterns and the creation of weather systems such as hurricanes and monsoons. Without seas, these weather patterns would most likely be less common or absent entirely.

Biodiversity: Oceans host a wide variety of marine life, including fish, mammals, and invertebrates. Without the seas, these habitats would not exist, resulting in substantial changes in global biodiversity patterns.

Human Impact: Throughout history, humans have relied on the oceans for transportation, trade, food, and recreation. The disappearance of seas would need new ways of transportation, and seafood as a food supply would be severely restricted.

What if earth stopped rotating, No Day-Night Cycle: Without Earth's rotation, one side of the planet would always face the Sun, while the other side would always be in darkness. This would lead to extreme temperature differences between the two sides.

Extreme Climate: The side facing the Sun would experience scorching temperatures, while the dark side would become extremely cold. The lack of rotation would prevent the redistribution of heat around the planet, leading to harsh and uninhabitable conditions.

No Coriolis Effect: The Coriolis effect, caused by Earth's rotation, influences global wind patterns and ocean currents. Without it, these patterns would be significantly altered, potentially leading to stagnant air masses and altered weather patterns.

Impact on Life: Most life forms on Earth have evolved to adapt to the day-night cycle. Without it, many species would struggle to survive or adapt to constant daylight or darkness. Plants, for example, rely on daylight for photosynthesis, and many animals have evolved behaviors tied to the day-night cycle for hunting, mating, and other activities.

Disruption of Tectonic Activity: Earth's rotation influences the movement of tectonic plates, which shape the planet's surface and contribute to phenomena like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Without rotation, these processes would be significantly altered, potentially affecting geological stability.

Changes in Gravity: Earth's rotation causes a slight bulge at the equator due to centrifugal force, which slightly decreases gravity at the equator compared to the poles. Without rotation, this bulge would disappear, leading to a more uniform gravitational field across the planet.

The Andromeda Galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy that is the closest major galaxy to the Milky Way. It was formerly known as the Andromeda Nebula and is catalogued as Messier 31, M31, and NGC 224. Andromeda has a diameter of around 46.56 kiloparsecs and is located approximately 765 kpc from Earth.

The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest spiral galaxy to our Milky Way. It is located approximately 2.5 million light-years away from Earth.

Andromeda is larger and more massive than the Milky Way. It is estimated to be over 220,000 light-years in diameter, which makes it roughly 20% larger than our galaxy.

Andromeda is one of just a few galaxies visible to the naked eye from Earth. On a bright, dark night, it appears as a faint, hazy patch in the Andromeda constellation.

The Andromeda Galaxy is on collision course with the Milky Way. However, this collision is projected to occur in around 4 billion years, and it is unlikely that individual stars inside each galaxy will collide due to their immense distances.

Andromeda, like the Milky Way, has a spiral structure consisting of a large center bulge and spiral arms. It has billions of stars, nebulae, star clusters, and other cosmic objects.

The Andromeda Galaxy's center is extremely luminous and dominated by a dense cluster of stars. This region is referred to as the nucleus or center bulge.

Galactic Halo: A large halo of stars surrounds the central bulge, many of which are ancient and have low metal content. The halo stretches well beyond the galaxy's observable disk.

Andromeda has multiple satellite galaxies, including M31 and M32. M32 and M110 are particularly notable. M32 is a tiny elliptical galaxy, and M110 is a dwarf elliptical galaxy.

Stellar Population: Andromeda is home to a diverse group of stars. It has both youthful, blazing stars in its spiral arms and older, cooler stars in its center.

Observable with Various Instruments: Scientists study the Andromeda Galaxy using various instruments across different wavelengths, including visible light, radio waves, and X-rays. Observing Andromeda helps astronomers understand the structure and evolution of galaxies.

The supermassive blackhole Sagittarius A is located at the heart of the Milky Way galaxy. சூரியனை விட 40 லட்சம் மடங்கு பெரிய கருந்துளை ,
Sagittarius A, also known as Sgr A*, is a supermassive black hole situated in the heart of the Milky Way galaxy. It is one among the most widely studied objects in astronomy. Sagittarius A* is predicted to have 4.1 million times the mass of our Sun, although it is concentrated in an area smaller than our solar system.

Sagittarius A*, despite its tremendous mass, does not produce light. Instead, it is detected indirectly by its influence on neighboring stars and gas clouds. Scientists have been able to establish the presence and mass of Sagittarius A* by studying the orbits of stars surrounding it.
Sagittarius A* also produces radio waves, which are thought to originate from the accretion disk of gas and dust swirling into the black hole. In recent years, astronomers have utilized more advanced techniques, like as very-long baseline interferometry (VLBI), to study Sagittarius A* with excellent accuracy.

The History of first life on our planet,
The earliest life on Earth is thought to have arisen around 3.5 to 4 billion years ago. The exact timeframe is difficult to pinpoint exactly due to the scarcity of geological and fossil data from that far period. The fossilized remnants of microbes such as bacteria and archaea provide the oldest evidence of life.

These early life forms were single-celled creatures that most likely lived in hydrothermal vents or shallow, warm oceans. The early Earth's atmosphere was significantly different from today's, with high amounts of gases such as methane, ammonia, and water vapor. Life is supposed to have originated when these basic creatures discovered the capacity to gather energy from their surroundings and reproduce.

Watch this video to learn about the different types of asteroid impacts that have occurred on Earth. We'll compare some of the major hits and their effects on our planet. This fascinating look at asteroid impacts is brought to you by Vaan Veli. #asteroidhitcomparison #asteroidimpacts #vaanveli

Chicxulub Impact (Cretaceous-Paleogene Extinction Event): This impact occurred approximately 66 million years ago and is believed to have caused the mass extinction of dinosaurs.

Tunguska Event (1908): Although not caused by an asteroid, this event involved the explosion of a large airburst, likely a comet or asteroid, over Siberia. It flattened an estimated 80 million trees over an area of 2,150 square kilometers.

Barringer Crater (Meteor Crater): Formed around 50,000 years ago in Arizona, USA, this impact crater was created by an iron-nickel meteorite approximately 50 meters in diameter.

Chelyabinsk Meteor (2013): While not an impact, this was a significant event where a meteor exploded in the atmosphere over Russia, causing widespread damage and injuring thousands of people.

பூமியை போன்ற மற்றொரு கோள் kepler 452B, Kepler-452b is an exoplanet that orbits the star Kepler-452, which is situated in the constellation Cygnus around 1,400 light-years distant from Earth. It was found by NASA's Kepler spacecraft, which is designed to look for exoplanets by watching a star's light dimming as a planet passes in front of it.

Because of its resemblance to Earth, Kepler-452b is commonly referred to as "cousin" or "older cousin." NASA announced it on July 2015. Kepler-452b has the following important characteristics:

Kepler-452b has a diameter that is roughly 1.5 times that of Earth, making it a super-Earth. It is expected to be rocky, similar to Earth.

It has an orbital period of around 385 days, which is quite near to Earth's orbital period of 365 days.

Kepler-452, the star around which Kepler-452b orbits, is identical to our Sun, but slightly older. This closeness in star properties suggests that Kepler-452b may have circumstances conducive to the presence of liquid water.

History of our planet EARTH,

Earth's formation (4.54 billion years ago): The Earth was formed from the dust and gas that surrounded the newborn Sun. The accretion process involved smaller particles colliding and sticking together to form larger bodies, eventually culminating to the formation of the Earth.

2. Hadean Eon (4.54 to 4 billion years ago): Earth was characterized by extreme heat and numerous asteroid collisions throughout this eon. The first oceans formed, and the atmosphere began to form.

Jupiter is the most largest planet in our solarsystem, Jupiter facts,
with a diameter of about 139,820 kilometers (86,881 miles).
It has a mass that is approximately 318 times that of Earth, making it more massive than all the other planets in the solar system combined.

Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, similar to the composition of the sun.
It doesn't have a solid surface; instead, its atmosphere gradually transitions into its dense, gaseous interior.

Jupiter has a thick atmosphere with bands of clouds and high winds.
Prominent features in its atmosphere include the Great Red Spot, a giant storm that has been raging for at least 350 years.

Jupiter has a very strong magnetic field, much stronger than Earth's.
Its magnetic field is responsible for intense radiation belts around the planet.

Jupiter has a large number of moons, with over 80 known as of my last update in January 2022.
The four largest moons, known as the Galilean moons, are Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and has an average orbital distance of about 484 million miles (778 million kilometers).
It takes approximately 11.86 Earth years to complete one orbit around the Sun.
Jupiter's rotation is very fast; it completes one rotation on its axis in just under 10 hours.

Jupiter has a faint ring system composed of small, dark particles.
Its ring system is much less prominent than Saturn's.

Several spacecraft have visited Jupiter, including Pioneer 10, Pioneer 11, Voyager 1, Voyager 2, Galileo, and Juno.

Jupiter is often referred to as the "king" of the planets and plays a crucial role in the dynamics of the solar system.
Its immense gravity has helped shape the orbits of other planets and objects in the solar system.

The Chernobyl disaster happened on April 26 1986, at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Pripyat, Ukrainian SSR, which was part of the Soviet Union at the time. It is often regarded as the worst nuclear disaster in history.

The incident occurred during a late-night safety test in Chernobyl's fourth reactor. A sudden power surge caused a large explosion and the discharge of a significant amount of radioactive elements into the atmosphere due to a combination of design defects and operator errors. Large amounts of radioactive particles, including iodine-131, cesium-137, and strontium-90, were discharged as a result of the explosion and ensuing fires.

The direct impact of the explosion killed two plant workers, and 29 more perished in the days that followed from acute radiation illness. The long-term effects of the Chernobyl tragedy were severe, with an increase in malignancies, particularly thyroid cancer, among people exposed to the radiation. To minimize future exposure, the affected area was evacuated and a huge exclusion zone was constructed.

Chernobyl had far-reaching consequences for nuclear energy policies, safety standards, and public opinion of nuclear power. It also contributed to the eventual breakup of the Soviet Union by highlighting the government's secrecy and reluctance to divulge information about the catastrophe. Significant changes resulted from the accident.
