Chandrayaan 3 interesting facts

Chandrayaan-3 is the third lunar exploration mission by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is a follow-up mission to Chandrayaan-2, which was launched in July 2019. The main objective of Chandrayaan-3 is to further explore the Moon's surface and conduct scientific experiments.

Chandrayaan-3 was originally planned to be a lander-rover mission, similar to Chandrayaan-2, but with improvements based on the lessons learned from the previous mission. However, due to the technical challenges faced during the Chandrayaan-2 mission, ISRO decided to focus on a simpler and more cost-effective mission for Chandrayaan-3.

The mission is expected to include an orbiter, a lander, and a rover. The orbiter will revolve around the Moon and provide communication support between the lander-rover and Earth. The lander will attempt a soft landing on the lunar surface, and the rover will be deployed to carry out scientific experiments and collect data.
