In the wild, it can take more than size, teeth and brute force to come out on top. There are some creatures in the animal kingdom that are deadly to humans and animals alike – and some are no bigger than two inches long. These are animals that use venom and poison to attack, defend and hunt. The funnel-web spider latches onto its victim and bites repeatedly, unleashing enough venom to kill an adult human in less than half an hour. The stonefish and the blue-ringed octopus both expertly blend into the sea floor, and use their deadly venom when threatened. The rattlesnake and gila monster employ toxic bites, while the scorpion uses it’s whip-like tail to deliver a stinging blow. The cane toad’s poisonous skin means they have few predators, allowing them to reach plague-like proportions. Animal Armory takes a closer look at these mighty instruments of destruction and the animals that wield them with absolute precision.

Germany's Wild Birds - Rulers of the Air | Wildlife Documentary

Birds are truly universal and can be found almost everywhere on our planet!
By monitoring ten interesting bird-watching locations, we document not only the silver herons in the Westerwald, but also the last great bustards in Havelland. Then there are the great crested grebes in their splendid plumages, shown building their nests and during courtship, in an area of extinct volcanoes: the Eiffel.
Add to this, exotic wild birds and colorful parakeets, the newest members of the population in a park in Wiesbaden. We have resting migratory birds, ducks and waders on the west banks of the Steinhuder Lake.
On the border to the Netherlands, in the moorlands near Münster, we find the only wild flamingos in Germany. Equally interesting are the fire geese, avocets and many birds of the coastal region not far from Hamburg harbor.
At Federsee Lake in Upper Swabia, we observe the inhabitants of the extensive reed zones: bearded tits. Then we have the birds of fortune, the cranes, which interrupt their long journeys by resting on the Baltic coast. Last, but not least, in the Feldberg lake region we accompany the ranger on an exciting sea eagle excursion.

Both men were brutally attacked by bull sharks. Believe it or not, many scuba divers want to see great whites up close, and photographers want dramatic shots. But how do you get the sharks to where you want them? For decades, it's been done by baiting, or “chumming” – attracting sharks with food. This practice is being questioned and banned in many countries because of a dramatic increase in shark attacks.

In April 2012, a champion South African surfer was killed by a great white and shark tourism operators and documentary filmmakers were blamed. They were chumming in the area at the time of the attack. In Western Australia, 5 deaths are attributed to white sharks in just the first 6 months of 2012. Three surfers have also been killed by the sharks recently in California - more deadly attacks in a year than in the past dozen years combined. And the sharks have even been spotted as far north as Canada and a swimmer was attacked in Massachusetts. What's going on?

Almost all animals living in the sea are predators - from small fish to great white sharks and starfish to giant squid. Their bodies have been designed and built to capture prey and avoid becoming prey themselves. Raiders of the Underwater Universe have evolved to become among the more efficient war machines of our planet. There are "predators lurking" as stone fish, cleverly disguising themselves to wait for unsuspecting prey which wander too close. In an episode that illustrates the Race of Life in an underwater world of dangerous predators with razor-sharp teeth, we will see sharks, barracuda and moray eels go about their grisly business. Underwater predators have adapted some fairly extreme measures to hunt and to survive. The fish of the reef need to be fast to escape the barracuda, with its lightning speed and pincushion teeth. And stay on the alert when they swim near the lairs of the moray eel, a large and lethal creature of perhaps surprising grace and beauty. They may be ambushed by the also elegant - but deadly – lionfish. The knitting needle spines of the lionfish are capable of injecting deadly venom. Or if equally unlucky, prey can be sucked into the huge mouth of a stonefish. With so many hungry mouths to feed, it’s a jungle down there.

The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest ocean on earth, bordering all other oceans. The Pacific Coast stretches across New Zealand, Australia, East Asia and the west coast of North and South America.

On November 28, 1520, Ferdinand Magellan, coming from the Strait of Magellan, reached the Pacific Ocean on his circumnavigation of the world. He named it Mar Pacifico (Portuguese & Spanish for Peaceful Sea) because the storms that had accompanied him until then subsided. Despite this name, the Pacific also experiences violent storms and hurricanes.

The Pacific Ocean lies between the Arctic to the north, North America to the northeast, Central America to the east, South America to the southeast, Antarctica to the south, Australia to the southwest, Oceania to the west, and Asia to the northwest. In the north it borders on the Arctic Ocean and in the southwest on the Indian Ocean and in the south on the Southern Ocean, which lies south of the 60th parallel.

The Pacific Pole of Inaccessibility (Point Nemo), the point furthest from the mainland and islands, is located in the South Pacific between New Zealand and Chile.

Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve is an American national park that protects portions of the Brooks Range in Northern Alaska. The park is the northernmost National Park in the United States, situated entirely north of the Arctic Circle. The park is the second largest in the US, slightly larger in area than Belgium. Gates of the Arctic was initially designated as a national monument on December 1, 1978, before being redesignated as a national park and preserve upon passage of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act in 1980. A large part of the park has additional protection as the Gates of the Arctic Wilderness that adjoins the Noatak Wilderness. They form the largest contiguous wilderness in North America.

The diverse fauna includes iconic predators like brown and black bears, timber wolves, and lynxes, alongside resilient species like muskoxen, Dall sheep, and wolverines. Twice a year, over half a million caribou migrate through the central Brooks Range, serving as a vital food source for local Indigenous communities. This rugged landscape marks the northernmost limit for Dall sheep and supports a stable population of roughly 132 brown bears.

In this vast, Arctic expanse, the ancient rhythms of migration and survival weave a silent, enduring bond between the land and the life it sustains.

Natesan (K. Bhagyaraj) is a poor auto-rickshaw driver who takes care of orphan children at his home. He manages to feed and educate the children with the meagre amount he earns and does not accept any kind of help from anybody. Meenakshi is a press reporter for a magazine named 'Bakirangam' which has a very poor circulation. To improve its flow, the magazine's Editor (Janagaraj)) insists her to interview a rapist who is capable of describing a rape point by point. Meenakshi scares to do the assignment but accepts as she has no other go. Natesan visits 'Bakirangam' office to advertise for rental home and he is diverted to Meenakshi's cabin. Meenakshi misunderstands him to be the rapist and scares for whatever he looks and does and at once stage she shouts for help. Angried Natesan explains who he is and why he has come and Meenakshi apologises for her misunderstanding. Meenakshi asks his home for rent but demands that no children to be present as it is big disturbance for her work in the house where she is staying. Natesan lies to her that no children is present in the house as he needs a tenant immediately for the rent due to his financial situation. Meenakshi visits the house and gets irritated on the mess inside the place but Natesan manages to grab advance amount from her. Meenakshi finds there are lot of children in the home and demands him the money she gave. But Natasen says since he did not give receipt for the amount she gave as advance, she cannot claim her money back and because of this she stays unwillingly in that house.
